TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3
TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 is a Tubulin and Topoisomerase II inhibitor. TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 induces G2 and M phase cell cycle arrest and promotes cell Apoptosis. TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 exhibits anticancer activity against breast adenocarcinoma and liver cancer. TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 can be used in studies related to breast adenocarcinoma and liver cancer.

In Vitro
TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 (Compound 26) potently inhibits the proliferation of MCF7 cells (IC50 = 2.4 μM), moderately inhibits the proliferation of HepG2 cells (IC50 = 6.3 μM), weakly inhibits the proliferation of HCT116 cells (IC50 = 63.4 μM), and shows no significant cytotoxicity against normal BJ1 cells[1].
TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 inhibits tubulin polymerization in MCF7 cells by 75.0%[1].
TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 inhibits Topo II activity in MCF7 cells by 43.7%[1].
TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 (2.4 μM) induces G2/M phase arrest in MCF7 cells[1].
Treatment with TopoII/Tubulin-IN-3 (2.4 μM; 48 h) induces apoptosis in 41.26% of MCF7 cells, with 7.58% undergoing early apoptosis and 28.16% undergoing late apoptosis, and results in an extremely low necrosis rate (only 5.51%)[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
