Description

Trifluoperazine N-Glucuronide (UGT1A4), as one of the human UGT1A isoforms, is expressed in the liver. Trifluoperazine N-Glucuronide catalyzes the imipramine and trifluoperazine Nglucuronide formation[1].

In Vitro

Trifluoperazine N-Glucuronide (1~10 μg; HEK293 cells) expression levels is 0.14 unit/mg protein[1].
Trifluoperazine N-Glucuronide coexpression affects the activity of human UGT1A9. The imipramine N-glucuronide formation by the single expression system of trifluoperazine N-Glucuronide follows the Michaelis-Menten equation. Trifluoperazine N-Glucuronide interacts with the human UGT1A1 and UGT1A6, affecting the enzymatic activities[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
