LY580276 potently and selectively inhibits ALK5 kinase activity with an IC50 of 175 nM, blocks TGF-β-mediated cellular signalling with an IC50 of 96 nM, and shows minimal activity against p38 MAP kinase (IC50 >10 μM)[1].
LY580276 (2 μM) inhibits TGF-β-induced epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition in normal murine mammary epithelial (NMuMG) cells[1].
