YSK 12C4
Based on 1 Customer Validation
YSK 12C4 is an ionizable cationic lipid primarily used to enhance siRNA cellular delivery via multifunctional envelope-type nanodevices (MEND). YSK 12C4 promotes siRNA uptake and endosomal escape, effectively silencing genes in human immune cell lines.

Biological Activity
A multifunctional envelope-type nanodevice (MEND) containing YSK 12C4 lipid (YSK12-MEND) can be used to deliver siRNA to mouse DC15. YSK 12C4 is an ionizable-cationic lipid containing unsaturated carbon chains, which facilitate efficient endosomal escape. The use of the YSK12-MEND resulted in a gene silencing efficiency in excess of 90%, with an ED50 of 1.5 nM in mouse DC15[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
