α2AR agonist 1 (compound S6a), a new morpholine-containing pyrimidinone, acts as an agonist of α2-adrenoceptor. α2AR agonist 1 induces a concentration-dependent relaxation on aortic ring pre-contracted with Phenylephrine (HY-B0769; pEC₅₀=6.81). α2AR agonist 1 increases NOx and NO levels in HUVECs.
