Biological Activity
4-Aminobenzaldehyde is a coupling agent that can form a red derivative with a maximum absorption at 472 nm. Preparation of 4-Aminobenzaldehyde dye: Dissolve 0.2 g in methanol and then dilute to 100 mL with distilled water[2].
4-Aminobenzaldehyde is also a bifunctional linker used to connect aldehyde and amine monomers to construct organic frameworks[3].
