Activité biologique
5-TAMRA is converted to hydroxyproline alcohol phosphoramidite reagents, that are suitable for oligonucleotide synthesis. These reagents can be used for automatical synthesis of oligonucleotide probes for DNA analysis. The fluorescence quantum yield of 5-TAMRA is related to the presence of adjacent guanine nucleotides in the oligonucleotide sequence[1].
