Chitinase1 contributed to a potential protection via microglia polarization and Aβ oligomer reduction in D-galactose and aluminum-induced rat model with cognitive impairments. [Abstract]2017 Jul 4:355:61-70. PMID: 28499970
Chitinase-IN-2 purchased from MedChemExpress. Usage Cited in: Neuroscience. 2017 Jul 4:355:61-70. [Abstract]
Measurement of Aβ oligomers by immunohistochemical staining (×200) and western blot in experimental animals. Whether in the hippocampus (A) or cortex (B), there are much more Aβ oligomers in theAD rats compared to controls (p<0.05). Compared with the AD group, expression of Aβ oligomers in the cortex and hippocampus following chitinase treatment in AD rats is reduced (p<0.05), while the chitinase inhibitor (chitinase-IN-2) increases the Aβ oligomer expression (p<0.05)
