PfDHODH-IN-2, a dihydrothiophenone derivative (Compound 11), is a potent Plasmodium falciparum dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (PfDHODH) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 1.11 µM. PfDHODH-IN-2 acts as an antimalarial agent and can be used for the research of malaria.

JT71 reduces the activity of the mrkA promoter in Klebsiella pneumoniae, effectively inhibiting the formation of biofilms by Klebsiella pneumoniae, while not affecting the cell's viability. Sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase, Streptomyces sp. is a sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase derived from the genus Streptomyces, which cleaves the phosphodiester bond of sphingomyelin. Sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase, Streptomyces sp. catalyzes the hydrolysis of sphingomyelin in micelles, synthetic substrates, erythrocyte ghost membranes and liposomes, as well as the hydrolysis of the substrate HNP. In the presence of Mg²⁺ or Mn²⁺ , Sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase, Streptomyces sp. induces hemolysis of bovine erythrocytes through the hydrolysis of membrane sphingomyelin.

FR900098 sodium is an antimalarial agent that inhibits 1-deoxy-d-xylulose-5-phosphate (DXP) reductoisomerase. FR900098 sodium has no significant acute toxicity or genotoxicity, and does not have the ability to cause chromosome breakage or heterogeneity. FR900098 sodium has no effect on bone marrow red blood cells in NMRI mice.

SR9186 (ML368) is a selective CYP3A4 inhibitor with IC₅₀ values of 9, 4, and 38 nM for Midazolam → 1'-hydroxymidazolam, Testosterone → 6β-hydroxytestosterone, and Vincristine → Vincristine M1, respectively. SR-9186 inhibits the development of hepatic-stage P. falciparum and blocks ivermectin metabolism. SR-9186 can be used in breast cancer research.
