Sulisobenzone (3.1-98.7 mg/L) downregulates thyroid hormone-regulated genes in rat pituitary cell lines[1].
Sulisobenzone (76 mg/L) induces oxidative damage and reduces viability in the microalga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, increasing ROS levels by up to 1.5-fold and decreasing growth rate, membrane potentials, metabolic activity, and autofluorescence[1].

Decreased L-phenylalanine (97.3% change), L-tyrosine (164.2% change), and guanosine (128.4% change), and increased 3,4-dihydroxyhydrocinnamic acid (63.7% change) and L-acetylcarnitine (68.5% change) in liver.
