ACSS2-IN-1
ACSS2-IN-1 is a potent acetyl-CoA synthetase 2 (ACSS2) inhibitor with an IC50 of <1 nM. ACSS2-IN-1 inhibits ACSS2 enzymatic activity, blocks the metabolic pathway converting acetate to acetyl-CoA in cancer cells, and thereby suppresses tumor energy metabolism, lipid synthesis and histone acetylation. ACSS2-IN-1 can be used in the research of cancer and hyperproliferative disorders.

In Vitro
ACSS2-IN-1 (Compound 1) (2-4 h) inhibits endogenous fatty acid synthesis (IC50 <1 nM) and endogenous histone acetylation (IC50 <1 nM) in HCT-15 human colon cancer cells[1].
ACSS2-IN-1 potently inhibits purified ACSS2 with an IC50 of <1 nM[1].
The product (0.2-100 μM; 24 h) shows no genotoxicity in CHO-K1 cells[1].
