Description

Anticancer agent 93 is a 4-Hydroxycoumarin derivative. Anticancer agent 93 can inhibit invasion and migration of lung cancer cells by modulating expression of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) effectors[1].

In Vitro

Anticancer agent 93 (compound 4h) (5-15 μM; 24 h) significantly inhibits A549 cell invasion by ~ 50%[1].
Anticancer agent 93 (15 μM; 24-72 h) significantly inhibits A549 cell migration[1].
Anticancer agent 93 (5-15 μM; 4 h) inhibits lung cancer cell motility by downregulating EMT markers[1].

  • Protocol 1

    Add each solvent one by one:  10% DMSO    90% Corn Oil

    Solubility: 2.5 mg/mL (7.92 mM); Clear solution; Need ultrasonic

    This protocol yields a clear solution of 2.5 mg/mL. If the continuous dosing period exceeds half a month, please choose this protocol carefully.

    Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 900 μL Corn oil, and mix evenly.
