Antiproliferative agent-79 is a WBC-A analog with a IC50 lower than that of WBC-A. Antiproliferative agent-79 inhibits the proliferation of lung adenocarcinoma cells and can be used in studies related to lung adenocarcinoma.

Biological Activity
Antiproliferative agent-79 (49A) (50-100 μM) inhibits proliferation of A549 lung adenocarcinoma cells at 50 μM, does not rescue tps1Δ yeast strain growth on glucose, and has a lower A549 proliferation IC50 ratio than WBC-A[1].
