Acein-1

Acein-1 is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 16 μM against rabbit lung ACE. Acein-1 does not bind to the catalytic site of ACE and cannot be hydrolyzed by ACE. Acein-1 can be used in the research of hypertension.
