Anticancer agent 285 (Compound 1d) (72 h) exhibits IC₅₀ values of 3.31 μM in SK-Hep-1 cells, 3.91 μM in MDA-MB-231 cells, 4.82 μM in HCT116 cells, 19.7 μM in A549 cells, and 3.58 μM in SNU-638 cells^[1].

In Vivo

Anticancer agent 285 (Compound 1d) (10 mg/kg, p.o./i.p., three times per week for 23 days) significantly inhibits tumor growth in a human colorectal cancer cell line (HCT116 cells) xenograft mouse model without showing significant toxicity^[1].

Animal Model:

HCT116 cells (7 × 10⁶ cells per mouse) were injected subcutaneously into the flanks of the Male Balb/c-nu mice (male, aged 4 weeks)^[1].

Result:

The oral administration resulted in a tumor inhibition rate of 51.7%.
The intraperitoneal injection resulted in a tumor inhibition rate of 46.2%.
