p53 Stabilizer 2 (compound 17a16) exerts potent proliferation-inhibitory effects on various tumor cell lines including JeKo-1 and MOLM-13. The IC₅₀ at 48 h (0.81-1.81 μM) is lower than that of normal peripheral blood mononuclear cells, conferring excellent tumor selectivity^[1].
p53 Stabilizer 2 increases mitochondrial superoxide levels in A375 and JeKo-1 cells, and induces cellular oxidative stress^[1].
