Hamiformamide (5-100 μM; 2 h pre-incubation, 24 h incubation with LPS) potently inhibits LPS-induced nitric oxide production in RAW264 macrophage-like cells with an IC₅₀ of 49.1 µM while maintaining high cell viability^[1].
