HeLa cervical cancer cells were treated with 500 μM AZ-33 for 30 minutes. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis of the cell lysates revealed no residual AZ-33 within the cells, indicating poor cell permeability of AZ-33[2].
