Biological Activity: G-25671 is a platelet cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibitor (Ki = 4.5 μM) and uricosuric agent, as well as the active metabolite of Sulfinpyrazone (HY-B1271). G-25671 reduces the production of thromboxane B2 and malondialdehyde from arachidonic acid (AA), and inhibits human platelet aggregation induced by Sodium arachidonate (HY-109590A). G-25671 can be used in gout-related research[1][2].
