CB 966
CB 966 a Vitamin D3 (HY-15398) analogue, is an immunosuppressant. CB 966 delays rejection of allogeneic skin grafts in mice. CB 966 moderately increases serum calcium levels. CB 966 can be used for the research of allogeneic skin graft rejection.

Animal Model:Male CBA (H-2k) mice (2-3 months) ransplanted with skin from the tails of C57Bl/6 (H-2ᵇ) mice[1]
-
Dosage:0.2; 0.4 μg/kg
-
Administration:i.p.; daily; until rejection
-
Result:Prolonged mean skin allograft survival time to 14.3 days at 0.2 μg/kg.
Prolonged mean skin allograft survival time to 18.7 days at 0.4 μg/kg.
Produced statistically significant immunosuppressive effect compared to vehicle-treated controls (mean survival time 10.3 days).
Raised serum calcium levels moderately, measured on the day of rejection.
