CBD-TSC1
CBD-TSC1 is a reversible mixed-type inhibitor of human and mushroom tyrosinase, with an IC50 of 27.72 μM against mushroom tyrosinase. CBD-TSC1 interacts with both the free enzyme and the enzyme-substrate complex. CBD-TSC1 reduces intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels under oxidative stress as well as melanin content in zebrafish larvae.

mushroom Tyrosinase 27.72 μM (IC50) |
In Vitro
CBD-TSC1 (5-20 μM; 8-24 h) maintains the viability of G361 melanoma cells and HaCaT keratinocytes above 70%[1].
CBD-TSC1 (0.625-2.5 μM; 24 h pre-incubation) reduces H2O2-induced intracellular ROS in HaCaT and G361 cells, with a significant reduction at 2.5 μM[1].
CBD-TSC1 (0-75 μM) inhibits human tyrosinase diphenolase activity in G361 melanoma cell lysates with an IC50 of 34.47 μM and acts as a mixed-type inhibitor with a Ki of 26.96 μM[1].
CBD-TSC1 inhibits mushroom tyrosinase diphenolase with an IC50 of 27.72 μM, and as a reversible mixed-type inhibitor, it prolongs the lag phase of monophenolase by 5.5 min[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Cell Line:G361 human melanoma cells and HaCaT human keratinocytes
-
Concentration:5 μM; 10 μM; 15 μM; 20 μM
-
Incubation Time:8, 12, 24 h
-
Result:At short-term exposure (up to 24 h), CBD-TSC1 was well tolerated in both cell lines, with viability remaining above 70% across all tested concentrations.
These findings indicate that CBD-TSC1 exhibited low acute cytotoxicity under the tested conditions and showed a comparable or slightly improved tolerability profile relative to CBD during the initial 12 h of exposure.
