CC618
Based on 1 Customer Validation
CC618 is a selective PPARβ/δ antagonist. CC618 covalently modifies conserved Cys249 in the PPARβ/δ ligand-binding pocket via nucleophilic aromatic substitution, converting its thiol moiety to a 5-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridylthioether.

CC618 (dilution series; 19 h) selectively antagonizes agonist-induced PPARδ activity in Cos-1 cells with an IC50 of 10.0 μM, with minimal activity against PPARα and PPARγ subtypes[1].
CC618 (10 μM; 15 min) covalently modifies the Cys249 residue within the ligand-binding pocket of purified human PPARδ protein[1].

Select the appropriate dissolution method based on your experimental animal and administration route.
- For the following dissolution methods, please ensure to first prepare a clear stock solution using an In Vitro approach and then sequentially add co-solvents:
- To ensure reliable experimental results, the clarified stock solution can be appropriately stored based on storage conditions. As for the working solution for In Vivo experiments, it is recommended to prepare freshly and use it on the same day.
- The percentages shown for the solvents indicate their volumetric ratio in the final prepared solution. If precipitation or phase separation occurs during preparation, heat and/or sonication can be used to aid dissolution.
