VIS-410 is an antibody inhibitor targeting the stem region of hemagglutinin (HA). VIS-410 inhibits influenza virus replication by blocking HA-mediated membrane fusion. influenza A virus hemagglutinin HA

In Vitro

VIS-410 potently inhibits replication of multiple influenza A virus strains (including H3N2 and H5N1) in MDCK cells, with IC₅₀ values ranging from 0.3-11 µg/mL, by blocking HA-mediated membrane fusion^[2].
VIS-410 exhibits an IC₅₀ of 1.5 μg/mL against Duck/MN/1525/81 H5N1^[2].

In Vivo

VIS-410 (50 mg/kg; single dose, double dose) confers significant survival benefit in DBA mice infected with lethal H7N9 influenza A virus, and combination with Oseltamivir (HY-13317) reduces lung viral load and cytokine responses^[2].
VIS-410 confers significant survival benefit in mice infected with H3N2 influenza A virus^[2].
