Triphenylene
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Triphenylene is a π−π* type UV-B absorbing Photosensitizer. Triphenylene targets the Aryl hydrocarbon receptor. Triphenylene directly triplet-photosensitizes adjacent thymines, thereby inducing cyclobutane pyrimidine dimer formation. Triphenylene can intercalate into tissue and transmit phosphorescence through biological tissue, indicating its potential use in biosensing and deep-tissue optical delivery.
