OV329 (5-40 mg/kg, i.p.) shows anticonvulsant effect in pentylenetetrazole-induced seizuring rats^[1].
OV329 (30-40 mg/kg, i.p.) increases the afterdischarge threshold in amygdala-kindled rats^[1].

Increased clonic seizure threshold from the 19.5 to 40.98 mg/kg at 40 mg/kg.
Showed the EC₅₀ for myoclonic seizures is 25.83 mg/kg and for clonic seizures is 20.8 mg/kg.
Showed the responder rate of rats reaches 100% at the dose of 40 mg/kg.
