Copeptin (human) acetate can be used in studies related to AVP secretion, fluid and osmotic homeostasis, stress responses, and cardiovascular biomarkers.

Copeptin (human) (1-100 nM) acetate has no effect on the basal tone and spontaneous myogenic contractions of human proximal or distal gastric circular muscle; it has no effect on the basal tone and spontaneous myogenic contractions of isolated distal gastric tissues from mice; and it has no effect on the tension of isolated mouse aortas pre-contracted to submaximal levels[2].
