Copeptin (human) acetate
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Copeptin (human) acetate is a peptide biochemical reagent corresponding to the 39 amino acid sequence at the C-terminus of human pre-provasopressin, which serves as a stable surrogate biomarker reflecting the secretion of arginine vasopressin (AVP). Copeptin (human) acetate can be used in studies related to AVP secretion, fluid and osmotic homeostasis, stress responses, and cardiovascular biomarkers.

Biological Activity
Copeptin (human) (1-100 nM) acetate has no effect on the basal tone and spontaneous myogenic contractions of human proximal or distal gastric circular muscle; it has no effect on the basal tone and spontaneous myogenic contractions of isolated distal gastric tissues from mice; and it has no effect on the tension of isolated mouse aortas pre-contracted to submaximal levels[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
