In Vivo

CRB0017 (1.2-12 mg per knee; intra-articular administration; 2 doses total, with a 6-week interval) significantly reduces all histopathological osteoarthritis (OA) scores in male STR/ort mice at the dose of 12 mg per knee[1].

Animal Model: STR/ort (male, 5 months of age at study start)[1]
Dosage: 1.2 mg per knee; 12 mg per knee
Administration: intra-articular; 2 doses total 6 weeks apart
Result: Reduced all OA histopathological scores (grade, stage, cell loss, GAG loss, OARSI score, Mankin’s score, total score) in a dose-dependent manner.
Decreased all parameters statistically significantly compared to vehicle at 12 mg per knee dose.
Showed a non-significant trend toward decreased scores for all parameters at 1.2 mg per knee dose.
