cT84.66 is a highly efficient tumor-targeting agent against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). cT84.66 engages in bivalent binding with CEA via variable region antigen-binding sites, enabling precise targeting of CEA-producing tumor cells for delivery of therapeutic radiation. cT84.66 exhibits high tumor uptake rate, rapid clearance rate, and excellent tumor-to-blood ratio. With dual functions as an imaging agent and an antibody-directed radiotherapy agent, cT84.66 is widely used in studies of colorectal cancer and metastatic CEA-positive malignancies.

In Vitro

cT84.66 binds bivalently and with high affinity (Ka=4.0 × 1010 M-1) to CEA[1].
cT84.66 (5-10 mCi 123I per 1 mg cT84.66 minibody) can be efficiently radiolabeled with 123I, yielding a product with ≥95% immunoreactivity, ≥90% radiolabeling efficiency, and endotoxin levels <1 unit/mL[1].
cT84.66-DOTA has superior kinetic stability to cT84.66-DTPA when labeled with 111In or 90Y[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Radiolabeled cT84.66 minibody achieves tumor uptake up to 30% injected dose per gram in LS-174T colon cancer xenografts, with faster blood clearance than intact antibodies and superior tumor-to-blood ratios compared with cT84.66 F(ab')2 fragment[1].
90Y-DOTA-cT84.66 achieves high tumor uptake (approaching 60% ID/g) with low bone uptake (1%-2% ID/g) in tumor-bearing mice[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
