Description

Cysteine peptide is a tyrosinase inhibitor with skin-whitening, antioxidant and multi-regulatory activities. Cysteine peptide inhibits enzyme activity and blocks melanin transport, effectively reducing UV-B-induced skin erythema and pigmentation. Cysteine peptide synergistically maintains skin health by quenching ROS, resisting oxidative stress and promoting pheomelanin production. In Vitro

Cysteine peptides, including γ-glutamylcysteine and cysteinylglycine, contribute to enhanced DPPH radical scavenging capacity relative to an equivalent amount of GSH alone[1].
Tobacco cysteine peptide RALF inhibits root growth and nutrient uptake in tobacco cells[2].
Tomato cysteine peptide LeRALF induces medium alkalinization in tomato cells via receptor binding, with disulphide bridges essential for activity, and binds to cell surface sites with a dissociation value of 0.8×10-9 M[2].
