Deoxyharringtonine acts on P388 leukemia cells with the IC₅₀ value of 7.5 ng/mL. In addition, it has strong cytotoxic activity against hematopoietic cell lines such as HL-60, HL-60/RV+, JURKAT, ALL3, NCEB1, JEKO, MOLT-3, etc^[1].
