DFHBI-2T (solution)
DFHBI-2T solution is a membrane-permeable, RNA aptamer-activated fluorescent probe (Ex/Em=500 nm/523 nm), with a Kd value of 1300 nM for the RNA aptamer Spinach2. DFHBI-2T solution binds to Spinach2, converting the fluorophore to a fluorescent state, stabilizing its planar structure to facilitate the radiative fluorescence decay pathway, and forming a complex with red-shifted excitation and emission peaks. DFHBI-2T solution can be used for RNA imaging in live cells. It is also applicable to research related to fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome.

Biological Activity
DFHBI-2T solution (1 μM) binds Spinach2 RNA aptamer with a Kd of 1300 nM, forming a complex with excitation maximum at 500 nm, emission maximum at 523 nm[1].
DFHBI-2T solution (20 μM; 10 min) forms a fluorescent complex that is readily detectable using a YFP filter cube but not a GFP filter cube in COS7 cells expressing (CGG)60-Spinach2[1].
DFHBI-2T solution enables SAM-dependent fluorescence detection at 523 nm using a Spinach2-based SAM sensor in vitro[1].
DFHBI-2T solution binds to the Spinach2 RNA aptamer with a Kd of 1300 nM, exhibiting a shift in spectral properties and a 60-fold increase in brightness compared to its free state[2].
