Biological Activity
Disialyloctasaccharide (20 mg/mL Hydralazine (HY-B0464A); 35 min), when derivatized with hydralazine as a reactive matrix, produces a labeled ion with an S/N ratio of 415, demonstrating enhanced detection sensitivity in negative-mode MALDI-MS compared to non-derivatized analysis with 9-AA matrix[2].
Disialyloctasaccharide serves as an effective internal standard for serum sialylated glycan quantification, with the assay showing an RSD of 12.17% for SG29 in human serum[5].
