Dodecylamine-d25
Dodecylamine-d25 (Laurylamine-d25) is the deuterated-labeled Dodecylamine (HY-B1638). Dodecylamine (Laurylamine) is a saturated aliphatic amine with cytotoxicity. Dodecylamine can act as a ligand for the extracellular recognition segment CD36149‑168 of the human CD36 receptor, with a human EC50 of 19 μM. After conjugation with BSA, Dodecylamine can increase hydrophobicity/amphiphilicity and promote self-assembly into cationic nanoparticles. Dodecylamine can be used in research related to CD36 receptor ligand recognition and nanoparticle synthesis.

Description
In Vitro
Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
Application
1. This compound can be used as a tracer
2. This compound can be used as an internal standard for quantitative analysis by NMR, GC-MS, or LC-MS.
