DOPE-PEG2000-APRPG
DOPE-PEG2000-APRPG (DOPE-PEG2000-Mal-Cys-APRPG) is an amphiphilic lipid-PEG-peptide conjugate consisting of DOPE (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine), PEG2000, and the APRPG peptide (Ala-Pro-Arg-Gly), a tumor-homing peptide. DOPE-PEG2000-APRPG is used for tumor vasculature-targeted drug delivery.

Biological Activity
DOPE-PEG2000-APRPG: surface modification of liposomes and nanoparticles for tumor vasculature-targeted drug delivery and anti-angiogenic research in cancer treatment.
Structural composition:
(1) DOPE; a fusogenic phospholipid with two oleoyl chains that anchors into lipid bilayers and promotes pH-dependent membrane fusion for intracellular drug release;
(2) PEG2000; a hydrophilic polymer that provides steric stabilization, reduces opsonization and immune clearance, and extends blood circulation half-life;
(3) APRPG peptide; a tumor-homing tetrapeptide that specifically binds to aminopeptidase N (CD13), a cell-surface enzyme highly expressed on angiogenic endothelial cells in tumor vasculature but not on normal blood vessels, enabling selective targeting of tumor neovasculature for anti-angiogenic drug delivery.
