DOPE-PEG2000-PTP (DOPE-PEG2000-Mal-Cys-KTLLPTP) is an amphiphilic lipid-PEG-peptide conjugate consisting of DOPE (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine), PEG2000, and the PTP (pancreatic cancer-targeting peptide). DOPE-PEG2000-PTP is used for pancreatic cancer-targeted drug delivery through liposome and nanoparticle functionalization.

Biological Activity
DOPE-PEG2000-PTP: surface decoration of liposomes and lipid nanoparticles for pancreatic cancer-targeted drug delivery, enabling selective drug accumulation in pancreatic tumor tissues.
Structural composition:
(1) DOPE; a fusogenic phospholipid with two oleoyl chains that anchors into lipid bilayers and promotes pH-dependent membrane fusion for intracellular drug release;
(2) PEG2000; a hydrophilic polymer that provides steric stabilization, reduces opsonization and immune clearance, and extends circulation half-life;
(3) PTP peptide; a pancreatic cancer-targeting peptide that specifically binds to receptors or surface markers overexpressed on pancreatic cancer cells, directing nanocarriers to pancreatic tumor tissues for enhanced drug uptake and improved therapeutic efficacy with reduced systemic toxicity.
