Biological Activity
NG-497 selectively inactivates human and nonhuman primate ATGL but not structurally and functionally related lipid hydrolases and abolishes human adipocytes in a dose-dependent and reversible manner Lipolysis[1].
NG-497 (40 μM, 80 min) reduces lipolysis-dependent respiration in HepG2 cells without impairing mitochondrial function through off-target effects[1].
