Flutax-2
Flutax-2 is an active fluorescent derivative of Paclitaxel (HY-B0015) that binds to polymerized αβ-tubulin dimers. Flutax-2 is applicable for imaging microtubules in live cells, isolated cytoskeletons and parasites (Ex/Em=496/526 nm).

Biological Activity
Flutax-2 (75-750 nM; 16 h) binds to microtubules in 1A9, PTX10, and A549 cells, as demonstrated by fluorescence signal intensity and the quantification of labeled microtubules[1].
The microtubule-binding activity of Flutax-2 (75 nM; 16 h) is significantly enhanced in HDAC6-wt NIH-3T3 cells treated in combination with Lonafarnib (HY-15136)[1].
Flutax-2 (1 μM; 40 min at 37°C) specifically labels microtubule-containing structures (axostyle, centrosome, anterior flagella) in live Trichomonas vaginalis ATCC strains 30236 and 30238[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
