DOPE-PEG2000-PP1
DOPE-PEG2000-PP1 (DOPE-PEG2000-Mal-Cys-LSLERFLRCWSDAPA) is an amphiphilic lipid-PEG-peptide conjugate consisting of DOPE (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine), PEG2000, and the PP1 peptide. PP1 peptide functions as a targeting ligand for specific cell or tissue recognition. DOPE-PEG2000-PP1 is used for targeted drug delivery through functionalization of liposomes and lipid nanoparticles.

Actividad biológica
DOPE-PEG2000-PP1: surface modification of liposomes and nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery to specific cells or tissues.
Structural composition:
(1) DOPE; a fusogenic phospholipid with two oleoyl chains that anchors into lipid bilayers and promotes pH-responsive membrane fusion for intracellular cargo release;
(2) PEG2000; a hydrophilic polymer chain that provides steric stabilization, reduces protein adsorption and immune recognition, and extends circulation half-life;
(3) PP1 peptide; a targeting peptide that specifically binds to receptors or markers on target cells, directing nanocarriers to desired tissues for enhanced drug accumulation and therapeutic efficacy while minimizing off-target toxicity.
