Glucomoringin
Glucomoringin, a structurally unusual glucosinolate found in seeds of Moringa oleifera Lam., is an antimicrobial agent. Glucomoringin permits to maximize it's power when bioactivated with myrosinase. Glucomoringin can be used for the research of bacterial infections.

Biological Activity
Glucomoringin (1.52 mg/mL; 24 h) bioactivated to GMG-ITC potently inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus ATCC BAA-977 (inhibition halo of 25 mm) and Enterococcus casseliflavus ATCC 700327, shows no activity against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC BAA-1026, and does not inhibit Candida albicans ATCC 14053 growth in vitro[1].
