Biological Activity
H-Phe (3-CF3)-OH (Compound 66) acts as a substrate of human LAT1 in induced TREx HEK-hLAT1 cells, with a relative exchange efflux rate of 59% vs L-phenylalanine, and inhibits [3H]-gabapentin uptake by 87% at 200 μM[1].
