INN-312
INN-312 is a sickle hemoglobin (Hb S) inhibitor capable of penetrating red blood cell membranes. INN-312 inhibits sickling of sickle red blood cells under hypoxic conditions, increases the oxygen affinity of Hb, and moderately improves the solubility of deoxygenated Hb S. INN-312 can be used in research related to sickle cell disease.

Biological Activity
INN-312 (0.5-2 mM) dose-dependently inhibits sickling of sickle erythrocytes (SS cells) under hypoxic conditions at 37°C, with 81% inhibition at 2 mM[1].

Increased maximum plasma concentration in a dose-dependent manner.
Shifted hemoglobin oxygen equilibrium curve toward the left more strongly than various previously reported compounds.
