CRB0017
CRB0017 is a recombinant monoclonal antibody targeting ADAMTS5, with high affinity for the spacer domain of ADAMTS5 and strong antigen specificity. CRB0017 binds to the spacer domain of ADAMTS5 and reduces the proteolytic activity of this enzyme. CRB0017 delays articular cartilage degradation, alleviates the pathological severity of osteoarthritis, and decreases the osteoarthritis histopathological score. CRB0017 is applicable to the research of osteoarthritis.

Animal Model:STR/ort (male, 5 months of age at study start)[1]

Dosage:1.2 mg per knee; 12 mg per knee

Administration:intra-articular; 2 doses total 6 weeks apart

Result:Reduced all OA histopathological scores (grade, stage, cell loss, GAG loss, OARSI score, Mankin’s score, total score) in a dose-dependent manner.
Decreased all parameters statistically significantly compared to vehicle at 12 mg per knee dose.
Showed a non-significant trend toward decreased scores for all parameters at 1.2 mg per knee dose.
