LA-Bac8c is a Lipoic acid modified antimicrobial peptide with enhanced antimicrobial properties. LA-Bac8c inhibits S. aureus, MRSA, S. epidermidis, E. coli, and P. aeruginosa with MICs of 1, 4, 8, 8, and 8 μg/mL.
