NK037

NK037 is a phthalimide derivative that exhibits multi-target enzyme inhibitory activity against urease, xanthine oxidase, and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). NK037 inhibits urease with IC₅₀ = 2.9 μM, xanthine oxidase with IC₅₀ = 5.61 μM, and butyrylcholinesterase with IC₅₀ = 9.49 μM. NK037 can form enzyme-ligand complexes with urease, xanthine oxidase, and thymidine phosphorylase. Urease-IN-26 can be used for metabolism-related research.

NK037 (compound C15) (0.156-5 mM) inhibits jack bean urease in the indophenol colorimetric assay with an IC₅₀ of 2.90 μM; inhibits Escherichia coli thymidine phosphorylase in the thymidine substrate assay with an IC₅₀ of 17.81 μM; inhibits bovine milk xanthine oxidase with an IC₅₀ of 5.61 μM; inhibits horse serum butyrylcholinesterase with an IC₅₀ of 9.49 μM^[1].
NK037 (1‑8 μM) can bind to jack bean urease, bovine milk xanthine oxidase, and Escherichia coli thymidine phosphorylase, with dissociation constants K_d of 0.04 μM, 0.12 μM, and 0.49 μM, respectively, and binding constants K_b of 26.97 μM^-1, 8.44 μM^-1, and 2.03 μM^-1, respectively^[1].
