SW208108

SW208108 is a prodrug of dMe-SW208108, a CYP4F11-activated SCD inhibitor, with an IC₅₀ value of 9 nM. SW208108 undergoes demethylation by CYP4F11 to form the active metabolite dMe-SW208108, thereby inhibiting enzyme function. SW208108 depletes unsaturated fatty acids, induces cytotoxicity in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells expressing CYP4F11, and does not affect SCD activity in mouse sebocytes. SW208108 can be used in studies related to NSCLC.

体外実験

SW208108 selectively reduces the viability of four NSCLC cell lines (H2122, H460, HCC44, HCC4017) with an IC₅₀ of 0.014-0.031 μM; it exhibits moderate toxicity against H2073 cells, but shows no toxicity against another seven NSCLC cell lines^[1].
SW208108 is selectively metabolized to dMe-SW208108 in H2122 non-small cell lung cancer cells, whereas it remains unmetabolized in H1155 non-small cell lung cancer cells^[1].
