Tacapenem
Tacapenem (R-95867), the active metabolite of CS-834, is an antibacterial agent. Tacapenem exhibits a broad antibacterial spectrum, with activity against gram-positive and -negative aerobes and anaerobes. Tacapenem shows potent bactericidal activity against S. aureus and Escherichia coli.
