JVW-1009 binds to purified Sig1R (Ki = 96 nM) and Sig2R (Ki = 70 nM) with approximately equivalent affinity[1].
JVW-1009 (200 μM; 5-day) significantly reduces age-dependent neurodegeneration of VC4 and VC5 cholinergic neurons in SC_APP *Caenorhabditis elegans* via a PGRMC1-mediated pathway[1].
