ATSM
ATSM is a ligand that forms complexes with Cu2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, and Fe2+, with the highest affinity for Cu2+. ATSM forms Cu-ATSM with copper, which is used for PET imaging to detect tumor hypoxia. ATSM is commonly used in coordination chemistry and radiopharmaceutical research.
