Biological Activity
DBCO2-SS2-PEG24 (0.25-1 equiv (mol/mol) relative to oligomer; 4 h) modified 1216 siRNA polyplexes maintain stable spherical morphology, provide effective charge shielding, exhibit good serum stability, and mediate moderate gene silencing in EGFR-overexpressing KB/eGFPLuc and Huh7/eGFPLuc cells[1].
DBCO2-SS2-PEG24 (0.75 equiv (mol/mol) relative to oligomer; 4 h) modified 1216 siRNA polyplexes exhibit lower cellular internalization efficiency in EGFR-overexpressing KB and Huh7 cells compared to GE11-targeted DBCO-modified polyplexes[1].
DBCO2-SS2-PEG24 (0.75 equiv (mol/mol) relative to oligomer; 4 h) modified 1216 siRNA polyplexes mediate moderate EG5 gene silencing and antitumoral activity in EGFR-overexpressing KB and Huh7 cells, with lower efficacy than GE11-targeted DBCO-modified polyplexes[1].
