Human UGT1A10 is a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase. UGT1A10 catalyzes the glucuronidation of Mycophenolic acid (HY-B0421). Human UGT1A10 mediates glucuronidation modification of 34 out of 42 tested bioflavonoids. Human UGT1A10 is applicable to relevant research on colorectal cancer.

When expressed in COS-7 cells, UGT1A10 (30 min) efficiently glucuronidates Mycophenolic acid (HY-B0421), with an apparent Km value of 34 μM and a Vmax value of 0.63 nmole/min/mg protein, producing multiple glucuronide products[1].
His-tagged UGT1A10 (UGT1A10-H) exhibits high glucuronidation activity towards 9 different substrates[2].
Human UGT1A10 can glucuronidate 34 out of the 42 tested bioflavonoids, with a typical activity range of 3 to 14 nmol min-1 mg-1 protein. This enzyme exhibits preferential activity toward substrates with hydroxyl groups at specific ring positions, while showing reduced or no activity toward glycosylated substrates[3].
